After WWII In Imaginary Italy and Lost I wanted to go deeper into the techniques of matte painting.
I spent hours on Corsica taking photos of all sorts of things. You really feel stupid when you're taking photos of brick walls
and light poles and everyone's looking at you, wondering what the heck you're doing. But I guess you have to suffer for your art?

Sarténe is made completely out of photos I took on Corsica and a whole lot of drawing and merging in Photoshop.

I hope you like it!

By the way, the two people on the bridge is my brother (left) and father (right). My mother is also there, but she's a bit harder to spot ;)
