INTRO Another,
simplier way of creating jungles using spotlights and volumetric features. The options are a bit more limited this way, but the result can with a little imagination be just as great as with Curaya. |

SPECIAL VEGETATION One thing
you'll need in order to create a nice jungle scene is many, different
kinds of vegetation. You can make these yourself using the plants already
included in Vue and the material-editor, or you can find them on the internet. NOTE : You don't need any extra vegetation, but it can really improve your scene and add something special. |

THE BEGINNING Start by
creating a new scene with the atmosphere "New Orleans". Give the terrain a very dark texture as we'll put in a spotlight later. |

LIGHTING What you now do is to add a spotlight. This will create the strong light and simulate the humidity. Create a normal spotlight and move it a bit up in the air. Set "Spread" to 35.00 and "Power" to 575. Add a caustic light-gel and make the spotlight volumetric. |

THE SPECIAL VEGETAION As some
special vegetation will make every I've also added some rural maples, as they also are essential in a jungle pic. They work as background, bushes and much more. NOTE : I know this is a HUGE leap forward compared to the previous picture, but the process of adding vegetation can be so different from time to time it would be meaningless to describe it step by step |

ADDITIONAL FOLIAGE The last thing to do is to add the groundcover. I've covered the ground with ferns, clivias, excellents and grass. Of course, it's up to you what you want to add. I've also added a few rocks. |

FINISHED! The scene
is now finished. There may still be some tweaking to do, but in my case
it was finished.
